Hope you like the shoot! I was really inspired by this skirt from Tess Giberson and how beautiful it looks when the wind catches it. The photographer James is new to the rotation and I really love his work. We shot this in Miami in Key Biscayne at a national park. I’m not sure what made me gravitate towards the rocks but I wanted to put together a really moody, unique look. Plus, I ended up loving how the light reflected on the granite.
This look was put together by Gracie and me at the Tess Giberson Flagship store in New York. I loved the skirt for many reasons and then we decided to go for a Monochromatic look with a simple sporty looking cashmere sweater. The sweater has holes in almost like netting. Tess is known for her knits, especially in cashmere. She is by far my favorite splurge when comes indulging in a new sweater purchase. She uses the best yarns which allow them to be exceptionally soft while more durable. I’ll be at her show during NYFW and I can’t wait to share her newest collection with you. Follow Tess at @tessgiberson.
