Styling prints with prints is truly one of my favorite things to do. I know it seem like a labor intensive thought process but really once you get the hang of it, it comes together quite quickly. I’m going to devote this post to simple tips to getting print on print right everytime.
1. Prints that act as neutrals: Leopard, Black and white anything, Stripes, Plaid, Most Florals, Polka dots, and Nordic.
2. All of the items listed above can usually be paired together and with other prints that are not so neutral.
3. The color schematic of both prints should be similar.
4. Prints should come from the same genre. For example. You are wearing leopard pants and you want to pair them with a floral top. The floral print should lean more in the tropical, richer color direction then lets say floral printed daises. P.s Daises would go with stripes or polka dots.
I hope this helps when pairing your prints together. Think out of the box and don’t be afraid of trying something fresh. You never know when you’ll be making the next trend.
