Slip Dresses have been making their way back and I must say they’re not really the easiest look to pull off. You don’t want to look like your wearing your skivvies out to dinner and regardless they’re usually made with extremely thin material.

However, I do really like this look, so I had been on the hunt for the right one. I found this one at Aritzia in San Francisco. I really like the material. It’s crepe, not silk which kept it away from the nighty look. I paired it with chunky strappy daytime sandals and a bucket bag.

Styling Tips: Avoid pairing slip dresses with pointy or round toe heels It will throw the whole balance off. The only closed toe shoes your can wear with slip dresses are boots if you like the heroin chic.
