Rosa Clara

If anyone is wondering if I’m getting married OR has gotten married, the answer is of course not. This post is all about the dress and zero commitment :). When Rosa Clará asked me to team up with them to showcase their amazing bridal collection, I couldn’t say no.

For those of you not familiar with Rosa Clara, Rosa Clará is an amazing designer based out of Barcelona. She started designing bridal over 20 years ago and has collaborated with the likes of Zuhair Murad and Karl Lagerfeld. Her gowns are handcrafted and made with the best fabrics and beading in the world.

She now has three total collections that ranging in price point for all budgets. Rosa Clara is also known for her famous couture gowns worn by a number of celebrities during the Oscars and Golden Globes.

The day I went to go and pick out the dress for the collaboration, I felt like a kid in a candy store. All of her gowns are beautifully hung in rows behind glass doors, each one looked perfect. Trying them on was the most fun. I think I tried on about 7 styles. All amazing!! Her dresses are very chic. I decided to go with this mermaid style, I liked that the top was simple and the bottom had a big presence.

We shoot this look at the Biltmore hotel in Miami, not far from the store on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. If you are getting married, I must say this turned out to be a beautiful backdrop for photos. There were so many beautiful backdrops for photos. This set of photos were taken on their back terrace and the stairs that head down to the golf course.

For the styling of the shoot I wanted to keep it very simple and  how I imagine, I would look on the day of my own wedding.  My hair was down with simple waves and minimal makeup. I did my own hair and makeup for this shoot on purpose. I really think brides are the most beautiful when things are kept simple. I even wore my own jewelry that I wear every day. I didn’t really want to change anything. I let the dress be my statement.
