Tulum

If you follow me on Instagram then you already know I was in Tulum over Memorial Day weekend. We had the best time!! If you’ve never been to Tulum, I absolutely recommend it as a must go.

This time around since there was so many of us we ended renting a whole compound right on the beach. Which was amazing since we had a chef and bartender right on staff. Cheers to that!

We went out for a couple dinners, my favorite is Posada Margherita. It’s an Italian restaurant that really specializes on fresh local fish and homemade pasta. The restaurant is right on the beach with candle lit lanterns for a beach cottage vibe.

Another one of my favorites is Cafe Violeta. It’s also right on the beach with a chic beach house feel (pictured above). A great place for fresh local food and lots of green juices. If you are a green juice and smoothie connoisseur like me, Sanara is also great.

During the day we went on a few excursions. The first day we went tubing down a river of crystal clear blue waters at Sian Kaan Biosphere. The water is was clear you could see straight to the bottom and moving just fast enough to carry you down with not little work.

We also climbed down to a cenote or  also known as an underground river. Such an amazing experience, you must do this if you go. The water is rich in minerals which cause it be this beautiful turquoise color that can hardly be described. Go for yourself and see it!
